At the foot of the Sequoia National Forest, I was finally able to glimpse the Milky Way for the first time in years and years. It was glorious. But how to capture it?
Light trails are a very fun thing to create and I was able to do some experiments on the 4th of July.
Jim Redux: I wanted to give the effect of sitting at an outdoor café in Paris. Lacking the time and money to fly to Paris, I figured I’d set it up in the master-bedroom to take advantage of the afternoon sun.
I’ve got tomatoes coming out of my ears! I love this time of year, and there’s something about a big harvest of foods that makes me want to take out my camera.
