Check out the new and improved Digital Photography Blogs!

Shooting the Kids is in the middle of moving to our new home: the all new Digital Photography Blogs!

Once upon a time, we were five solitary bloggers, writing about all kinds of things in the photo world. But five heads are better than one, and we’ve joined forces to create the awesome new Digital Photography Blogs! Come check out the brand new site (this URL will eventually work for the new site) and let us know what you think!

Oh… and if you’ve subscribed to our feed, you’ll want to subscribe to the master feed instead. Hopefully you’ll discover some new writers and stories you missed!

We’ve Moved — Come Check Us Out!

Moving redux It’s official! Shooting the Kids and DPBlogs.com have moved over to our fancy new domain, DigitalPhotographyBlogs.com. And not only are Chris and I moving shop, our other DPBlogs friends are joining us there, as well. We are so lucky to be collaborating with some very talented photographers and bloggers, including John (of SyncSpeed), Jim (of Slightly out of Focus) and Stephanie (of i speak film).

Why are we doing this, you ask? Well, we wanted to be able to give our readers the best digital photography site possible, with tons of reader interaction, contests and the latest and greatest photography info, and we can do this best through joining forces with all our DPBlogs friends on a brand new site. Check back soon, too, to see the site’s pretty new look!

To all of our subscribers, THANK YOU! And please do change your subscription to our new master feed. If you’re just finding us for the first time and you love digital photography, now is the perfect time to subscribe. We have all levels represented, so don’t be intimidated!

Come celebrate with us. And pick up your cameras and start shooting. We’ll be starting cool new contests and calling for reader photo submissions at our Flickr group tomorrow!
