Make Your Photo Subjects Laugh!
Got kids (or other subjects, for that matter) who suddenly get shy around a camera? For all you Nikon lovers out there who also happen to take pictures of kids, this is a fun way to get a smile out of your little one!
How cute/strange is this little Pez-dispensing hot shoe attachment? (Note: A hot shoe is a mounting point on the top of a camera to attach a flash unit or other accessories.) Just point it in someone’s face, wait for the smile or laugh and get yourself a great shot. Read this easy step-by-step tutorial on photo.net for instructions on how to make this hilarious kid distraction for yourself!
Not sure if anyone’s tried this for other non-Nikon cameras yet. It’d be fun to see if it works.

Hot shoes are standard across all cameras, so this will work on non-Nikon cameras too.

I saw this, and was going to write a post on it.. You beat me to it! Hah.. I haven’t had much to post on for the past few days, and I’ve been sort of lazy. :-/ Need to find something fresh.
And oh, I was going to try that on my camera.. Once I find a PEZ dispenser.

Oh man, Mike. If you do this, you HAVE to post about it! And please take some pictures. Although, how do you take pictures of your camera? Hmm…

Well, I’ve got 250 Pez dispensers in my closet… Guess I’ve finally found a use for them!!!

[...] Have fun getting up close to your kids for better shots. And if they are a little annoyed or afraid of the camera in their faces, try this to make them laugh and get them more comfortable! Actually, Konica-Minolta (and now Sony) have an inverted mount.

Haha! I’m Federico Sartorio, the original poster of this Pez “hack”
I just googled my name and some sites showed up with this photo.net thread! I’m really happy this spread around the web!
